By accessing and using CopyIcons (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use this Service.

1Description of Service

CopyIcons provides a free, open-source icon library offering thousands of vectors in multiple styles for use in web, mobile, and desktop applications. The Service includes:

  • Interactive icon browsing and AI-powered search functionality
  • Icon downloads in SVG format
  • Code snippets for various frameworks (React, Vue, HTML, etc.)
  • NPM packages and CDN links for programmatic access (Coming in Phase 2)
  • User accounts for saving favorites and creating collections

2Icon License & Usage

All icons provided through CopyIcons are free to use for personal and commercial projects.

Free Use Covers:

  • Personal projects, websites, and portfolios
  • Commercial projects and paid client work
  • Open-source software UI
  • PaaS, SaaS, and internal company dashboards

Restrictions:

  • You cannot blindly resell or redistribute the icons as a standalone competitive asset or icon pack.
  • You cannot claim creative ownership of the raw vectors.
  • You cannot use the icons in offensive, hateful, or illegal content.

Attribution: While not required, attribution is greatly appreciated. You can credit CopyIcons by linking back to copyicons.com in your project documentation, footer, or about page.

3User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms at our sole discretion.

4Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our core systems or database
  • Interfere with or maliciously disrupt the Service performance
  • Scrape or download icons in bulk via automated bots without permission (please wait for our official API release)
  • Upload malicious code or content

5Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee 100% uptime.

6Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CopyIcons, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

7Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Continued use of the Service after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
